Ran across this article which sets the stage for much needed conversation about DEI in Travel.

Is the travel industry diverse and inclusive? It depends who you ask. A Travel Weekly survey reveals a wide gulf between how Black and white travel professionals see inclusion in the industry.

There are so many great DEI resources that help me listen better, further understand my privilege and the systemic racism in this country. With that, it’s sometimes been difficult to know where to prioritize my efforts for personal growth. I ran across this resource from the University of Minnesota Crookston that collates a multitude of resources and thoughtfully puts some structure around how someone (most particularly white folks) can work toward anti-racism. Whether you are just starting out on your journey or are further down the road, I like that it provides guidance on what actions each of us can take to further educate ourselves.
I hope others might find it helpful: https://www.crk.umn.edu/sites/crk.umn.edu/files/scaffolded-anti-racist-resources.pdf

Would love to hear what other resources folks have found helpful on either their personal or professional journey toward understanding and creating racial equity
