Destination Discovery & IGNITE

Destination Discovery & IGNITE!

Destination Discovery

ETC attendees are eager to learn from experts to expand their destination knowledge and share these stories with their constituents.  Destination Discovery is your opportunity to showcase an emerging, exciting, engaging and innovating travel program concept, with accompanying powerful images, in a high-quality, 10-minute, educational presentation. Guidelines for Submission.

Go beyond the marketing campaign to reveal authentic and transformational experiences, reveal new regions, sites and off-the-beaten-track journeys.  Submissions will be confirmed based on the quality of the presentation; its ability to expose travel planners to options for interesting lesser known and visited sites; and as a means to build relationships with people, places, cultures and communities.  These presentations are educational and preclude any platform to promote or market yourself or your company’s products. Submissions that are marketing promotions will not be considered.

IGNITE!

This well-received session is designed to expose conference delegates to the maximum amount of innovative program ideas, off-the-beaten-track sites, or new attractions in a fast-paced visual odyssey. Each presenter will have exactly 3 minutes to present accompanied by powerful and well-selected images. Guidelines for Submission.

The IGNITE! format is fun, engaging and quick!  This session is designed to “ignite conversations” and innovation in product design and sustainable tourism. A compelling story and beautiful images are designed to present what you do best and why others should want to come talk to you.

IGNITE! is not a platform to showcase, promote, or market yourself and/or your company’s products. It is a session that displays innovation and ideas in program development, sustainability and new opportunities in destinations around the globe.

Libations Table Hosts

Libations Table Hosts

Featured at the Grand Opening of the International Bazaar, you’ll have the opportunity to host libations and food trays at your individual International Bazaar table.

Libations evening in the Bazaar has become the signature start to conference socializing – and a very hospitable and fun way to meet new colleagues. Delegates stroll through the Bazaar and enjoy convivial conversations over food, cocktails and desserts!

New for 2020! Given delegate requests to extend the time at this event, more food options will be featured at libation tables in lieu of an opening dinner. All Libation hosts will feature a libation selection and a food selection at their tables.

Who: This opportunity is limited to a maximum of 30 Operators, Destinations and Suppliers, so confirm early on your registration form!

Date: Monday, February 3rd, 7:45–10:00 pm, directly following the Conference Welcome.

Table Fee: $50USD. Does not include food and libations which must paid directly to the Convention Center.

Menu and Pricing: Convention Center pricing is competitive and the food is top-quality. View menu and pricing here.

Libation Table Host Guidelines

-Open to all International Bazaar delegates (Destinations, Operators and Suppliers)

-Hosts are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots book quickly!

-Once 30 hosts are confirmed, a wait list will be initiated.

-Hosts are required to provide at least one libation/drink choice and one food item at their tabletop.

-Hosts are limited to a maximum service of 5 bottles of wine, or 20 bottles of beer, or 2 bottles of spirits and two food options.

-The Convention Center provides the food, wine/spirits/beer, mixers, and dessert options.  See Menu and Pricing.

-Hosts choose and order from options provided by the Convention Center. Outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited.

-Convention Center will direct-bill host for food, libation and dessert trays.

-Convention Center provides all glassware, napkins, serving dishes, plates, flatware, setup and ice to hosts at no additional cost.

-Setup of drinks and food will be on the desktop display of hosts in the International Bazaar.

-Once confirmed by ETC, libation hosts will receive an email confirmation and Convention Center contact information for ordering.

-No cancellations after January 10, 2020.
