The European Travel Commission (ETC) is an EU funded organization that promotes travel to Europe. Most European countries are members of the ETC. The Commission has created a great “one stop shop” website that lists all the country specific Covid rules and restrictions in the EU. Country specific links are also embedded within the reopen website.

I want to share a draft of our protocols that we are asking all of our ships, planes, and train owners/operators to adopt effective immediately. Feel free to ignore these suggestions and/or suggest modifications which I am happy to share. Alternatively, I am hopeful that you will consider adopting these protocols as your own and request your suppliers to help safeguard our travelers and staff.

Here are some ideas for Travel Planners to communicate with a focus toward the future. Of course, you are dealing with cancellations and more, but there are also things you can do to build goodwill now (beyond refunds!). When this is eventually behind us, you will be remembered and in a position to help fulfill the dreams of those who have pent up demand for travel!
